It was a quick wine to get ready and select. I only say this because the glasses from last night were still dirty and I had about 5 minutes to clean up the kitchen table for dinner which would have taken Kathy 3 weeks. I got it done and started rinsing the glasses when Barabara and Rachael arrived. They came with red sauced Italian food from Loveys, Morris Plains, NJ so I selected this wine but tastes may be altered because I may not have gotten all the soap out of the glass. I don’t know. I sensed the soapy flavor and so did Kathy, but otherwise the wine was really enjoyabale. Light and fruity.
So this wine is $20 from Toscany, Itlay. It is purple in color but tranlucent. It has a cherry cough syrup flavor to it, yet it isn’t syrupy. It is 13% alcohol and I can’t sense it which is nice. It is light and not too dry. A well balanced wine from start to a long finish. Much like last nights. I like this wine and for $20 it is worth the bottle.
